We went to Downtown Williams, AZ. Williams was the last city
on the Old Route 66 to be bypassed. Williams has done a lot to retain the "Kicks on Route 66" spirit like this restored gas station and 50 Ford. |
||
Here an entrepreneur built a replica Old West Town. | ||

A restored 55 Ford with Continental Kit and Fender Skirts. Twisters, a real Soda Fountain. |
||
A old fashioned Steak House. There were several 40's-50's styled motels. |

A popular activity in Williams is the Grand Canyon Train Tide to the
Grand Canyon. We choose not to do the train because we were more interested in seeing the Grand Canyon than riding a train. That is why we took Marvelous Marv's Tour. |
