At first we were only going to order a manual roof satellite TV dish. We thought we would usually be using a dish on a tripod but
wanted a roof mounted dish for a quick setup in inclement weather. Realizing the height of the ceilings in the trailer were higher than
in a motorhome, we decided to get an automatic dish. The choice of the Winegard AS-2003 auto-satellite dish turned out not to be a good one. This is covered in TV. However, the new generation Winegard Trav'ler auto-satellite dish has solved all the problems we had with our current dish and we will be replacing it. |

We did replace the AS-2003 with a Winegard Trav'ler SK-1000. Details of the installation are at Satellite Dish Replacement. |
