Mount Vernon


5/9/2017	Our location - College Park, MD Mount Vernon
We played tourists today and visited Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. The Museum attached to the visitor center was excellent. Many movies about how important George Washington was to the start of the United States of America.

	The Mount Vernon Organization is a non-governmental historical organization that has preserved and enhanced the visiting experience of George Washington's home.

	The Potomac River side of the house. The copula was part of the air conditioning system. With the cupola and the lower level windows open, a convectional upward air flow helped cool the house.
