USAF Academy |
Since we were staying on the USAF Academy
base, we decided to tour the Academy. .School wasn't in
progress and touring the Facility is limited to the Visitor Center
and the Chapel.

The Barry Goldwater USAF Academy Visitor Center. The Center
was name after Barry Goldwater who was a very strong influence with
the Air Force in its early days. |

The most iconic structure of the Academy is the Chapel.
While the structure seemed strange at the time, we think it fits
the Air Force. |

The lower level of the Chapel has the Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim
sections.

the parade areas. Located at the corners are classic
aircraft of the Air Force. |
