George W Bush Library


5/16/2013	Our location - Aledo, TX George W Bush Presidential Library
Since we were in the Dallas/Forth Worth area, we had to see the new George W Bush Presidential Library.

	The Library is located on the Southern Methodist University.
	Through the doorway is way appears to be a mural on the upper wall of that gallery. It is really a seamless LCD display on the four walls of the gallery. On a 15 minute schedule, an in-the-round video is played staring in Washington, DC, going through several significant views of America, and ending up in a collage display of photos of people who have entered the Library.

It would be hard not to have part of the World Trade Center Towers wreckage from the 9/11 attacks.

	Numerous videos recounting the George W Bush Presidency. Some brought tears especially the recollection of 9/11.

	Lots of geopolitical information all through the Library. Can you believe that in 1950 there were only 22 democracies in the World.
	Lot of space was dedicated to Laura Bush because she was a very active in World problems. She visited 75 countries..
