The sun came out and so did the "kids", the young horses kept in the barn behind us. Then we took a walk on the old farm.

Mark's Aunt Maude build a house overlooking the lake. You can see why. |

Cousin Steve, who now owns the house Aunt Maude built, laid in the winter's supply of fire wood from the trees that fell in the
forest around the lake. |

All this wood is about enough for a Wisconsin winter.
But it is free for the labor or cutting and splitting. |
