	We stopped at the Mayberry Campground, a relatively new RV Park in Mount Airy, NC, the home of Andy Griffith.
	And old tractor graces the entrance to this original farm, now a lovely campground.

	The Campground was once the farm of Chang and Eng Bunker, the original Siamese twins. This is the original farmhouse. One of the owners of this family campground, Aunt Nonni, is the great-great granddaughter of one of the twins, Eng Bunker.
	This park is not only new, but well laid out. Lots of long pull-thrus. Big enough for *Red Rover, Tige* and *Sparky*.

	The campground is beautifully terraced, giving excellent views of the surrounding foothills area for many of the sites.
	Really long sites are available.

	An interesting toad.
	Party pavilion. Good place for a social rally.

	The campground lanes are named for many of the characters in the "Andy Griffith Show"

	One of the Catch and Release fishing ponds.
	A lot of thought went into the terracing of the ground and laying out the camp sites.
