9/29/2008	Dodge City, KS Gunsmoke Campground
The time came to leave Diamond Campground in Woodland Park, CO and head for the HDT Rally in Hutchinson, KS. We decided to stop in Dodge City and act a little like tourists for a day.

	The Gunsmoke Trav-L-Park. Office, Ice Cream Parlor, and the rest of the activities areas.
	Really large sites. *Sparky* is parked behind *Tige.* We wound up being parked next to another HDTer on his way to the HDT Rally in Hutchinson, KS.

	Diane and Dave (ScubaDave) Jones. Diane and Dave left early to get closer to Hutchinson.

	We went to the Boot Hill Museum.
	The portion of the famous cemetery saved. An early jail.

	The General Store that had 1870's artifacts. The Long Branch Saloon.
	In the Long Branch, you can get a Sasparilla, beer, or soft drink. The dress makers shop.

	A Santa Fe locomotive. The Santa Fe Railroad was important to Dodge as a railhead for the Texas cattle drives.
