We wanted an awning over the rear window of Tige but the roof ladder was in the way. One of our options was to put a roll-up window cover. We did not like the idea of the roller above the rear window. Our solution was made by Ron Knight (Sibernut on the Escapees Forum). He does canvas repairs and makes custom items. Ron made this snap on window screen. We can leave it on the window. The screen allows air flow. The screen also provides daytime privacy without using the inside shades. The best thing, Ron made the screen from a good set of measurements so we did not have to travel to have the screen made. Later on, Dale had Ron make another sun screen this time out of grey material. |
