Storage Tubs

Last Changed 12/24/2016

Storage Tubs
We found using Rubbermaid Roughneck storage tubs invaluable for managing storage.  We had used them in Tige.

We used permanent marking Sharpies and stencils to label each tub on the front, side and top cover.  We used a number sequence that locates the tub in the cargo compartment by floor and tier locations.  We inventoried the items we put into each tub and entered the data in a spreadsheet.  The spreadsheet is laid out such that one page shows all the items we have in the cargo compartment and what tub they are in.  We keep a current printout in the cargo compartment..

The Bounder has a 10" clearance between the top of the frame and the bottom of the floor assembly.  This is enough to store Roughneck 10 gallon tubs in those spaces.  We had room for (9) of the 10 gallon tubs.

We used (3) 17 gallon Roughneck tubs in one storage compartment.  For the rest of the spaces, we used Sterilite Showcase boxes for smaller items and spaces.

We used some small bungee cords to keep the 10 gallon Roughneck tubs in the pass-thru area.

These photos are a tour around the storage compartments starting on the right front.

Storage Tubs This is a half compartment as the top half is used up with the Inverter and the Battery Control.

It is the most convenient compartment so it is being used for soda storage and Showboxes with often used items.
Storage Tubs There are (3) 10 gallon Roughneck tubs in the center pass-thru area and (3) 17 gallon Roughneck tubs.

The folding ladder is also in this compartment.
