Since we are using a laptop for the computer, we
only need a remote monitor for the driver. |
||
Driver's Monitor |
||
We are using this 7" Monitor. The monitor uses a USB cable for its signals and power.
We mounted the monitor just above the radio on the right side of the driver's dash.

Change 14/20/2016The USB monitor was found to unusable because the resolution (800x480) was too small for adequately displaying CoPilot. We replaced it wilt a 7" VGA monitor that could support 1024x768 resolution. Far better for displaying Copilot. |

Change 209/15/2016As we changed to Android equipment, we no longer were going to have a remote display for the driver. Instead we will be using a second Android device running a separate copy of the CoPilot app. |
